BBDO Asia CEO Tze Kiat Tan has confirmed with Campaign that she will step down on February 28, 2026, to explore her next chapter, after working for over two decades at the agency. Tan joined BBDO in Shanghai as a group account director in 2004. The network promoted her to CEO of BBDO Greater China in 2015, and in 2019, she joined the board of BBDO Worldwide. She became BBDO Asia CEO after Jean-Paul Burge departed in 2022.

Florian Jungbauer, previously head of brand & digital marketing channels, has left Hong Kong Jockey Club and joined Revamont, a bespoke luxury travel platform, as its founding partner.  Before HKJC, Jungbauer worked for FMA and Universal Music Group in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he served as managing director of GroupM in Indonesia. 

FTI Consulting has appointed Jason Leow as a senior managing director within the firm’s strategic communications segment. Leow, based in Singapore, brings more than 25 years of experience in financial communications, C-suite advisory, and stakeholder engagement across Asia, Europe, and the United States.  He was previously vice chair and head of APAC at Edelman Smithfield. Prior to that, he also worked at GIC, Shell, Meinhardt Group and AECOM.

Project Worldwide has announced the official launch of its India/South Asia “Project Hub” in Bangalore, following successful launches in New York, London, Singapore, and Sydney. Rasheed Sait, recently appointed chief growth officer for Project Worldwide, India/South Asia, will lead regional growth and expansion. He was vice president and managing director at George P Johnson Experience Marketing Bangalore over the past two decades. The Bangalore Project Hub will serve as the regional launchpad for Project’s diverse agency portfolio, including: George P. Johnson (GPJ), OS Studio, NOMOBO, Praytell and AI Labs.

Ogilvy Group Malaysia has announced two senior leadership appointments effective 1 January 2026.

  • Irene Wong, CEO of Grey Malaysia, has been named CEO, Ogilvy Group Malaysia, overseeing people, clients, and growth across Ogilvy and Grey.
  • Graham Drew, chief creative officer of Grey Malaysia, has been appointed chief creative officer, Ogilvy Group Malaysia, where he will spearhead creative, driving great work for clients across both agency brands.

Meanwhile, Michelle Ong will continue as executive group director of Ogilvy Malaysia, with responsibility for leading Ogilvy’s client portfolio. In tandem, Cindy Quek will remain managing director of Grey Malaysia, driving Grey’s client agenda. Kunal Jeswani will continue in his role as CEO, Ogilvy Group ASEAN, and remain fully invested in the success of the Ogilvy Group’s Malaysia operations.

Publicis Media has been appointed as Shangri-La's global media agency, with media buying and planning duties, following a pitch process. Earlier this year, Team Lewis won the PR and influencer remit for luxury hotel chain Shangri-La Group in Australia. Publicis’ DigitasLBI led Shangri-La’s global agency team back in 2016, tasked with brand strategy, creative strategy and execution, digital platforms, social media, CRM, and media planning and buying across global markets.

Atsushi Okahashi has joined AKQA as executive strategy director in Tokyo. Prior to joining AKQA, Okahashi served at BCG X, where he led new business creation and customer experience transformation for Japanese and multinational companies. Alongside his consulting work, Okahashi is the co-founder of Lobsterr Publishing, a research and editorial platform exploring the future of business, culture, and technology. 

Australian Pork Limited (APL) has confirmed the appointment of Enigma following a statutory review of its media partner, facilitated by Madclarity, with a shortlist of agencies.Enigma will take up the reins of the domestic fresh pork marketing from the new year, including the famous Get Some Pork On Your Fork campaign. It will bring an end to the years’ partnership between Australian Pork and Slingshot.

Creative Agency disruptor, Mash, has appointed Christopher Smith as head of strategy and innovation and launched APAC-first in-house AI training. With senior roles at WPP, Dentsu, Go-Jek, Endemol Shine, and the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, as well as strategic and creative leadership for Apple, Google, Unilever, Singapore Airlines, Amazon, and Prime Video, Smith brings rare expertise across generative AI, brand transformation, content ecosystems, and high-performance creative operations. He will lead the company’s Innovation Hub. His remit includes overseeing AI capability development for both MASH teams and clients. Earlier this year, Mash named an all-female executive team and shifted its global HQ to Singapore.

Edelman has announced two significant leadership appointments across Asia Pacific (APAC).

  • Quang Nguyen has been appointed as managing director of its Vietnam operation.With over 15 years of experience in marketing, branding and communications, Quang most recently served as managing director at BCM Vietnam, leading a 100-strong team and deepening partnerships with clients including Unilever Food Solutions, Organon, Masan and Vinamilk.
  • Pooja Rawat is now onboard as chief strategy officer for APAC. Rawat is a strategy leader with 18 years of experience in building brands across diverse sectors and cultures, from India to Southeast Asia, Central Asia and China. She joins Edelman from MullenLowe Lintas and is based in Mumbai.

Ogilvy Group Singapore has appointed Shirley Tay as chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2026. Tay first joined Ogilvy Singapore in 2000 and rose to become managing director of advertising. She later served as CEO of Young & Rubicam Singapore, before returning to Ogilvy in 2019. Most recently, she was chief client officer of Ogilvy Singapore. Kunal Jeswani will continue in his role as CEO, Ogilvy Group ASEAN, and remains fully committed to the growth and success of the business and clients in Singapore. Previously, he was Group CEO of Ogilvy Singapore and Malaysia.

Ebiquity China has appointed Kyle Hong as senior client partner, effective immediately. Hong brings over 20 years of media agency leadership experience across China and Taiwan. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at leading global agency networks including Omnicom (OMD & PHD), Dentsu Media, Publicis Media, WPP Media, and BBDO Taiwan. Most recently, he served as egneral manager of SAIC Volkswagen at PHD, and prior to that, spent five years as general manager of Growth at OMD.

Christina Peyton, WPP's former global vice president, who left last month, has launched KLAR, a modern marketing consultancy operating out of Dubai. KLAR provides senior marketing expertise in a flexible, high-value model, combining fractional leadership with AI-powered strategy and adoption support. Taking its name from the Swedish word for “ready,” KLAR’s mission is to make businesses ready to grow faster, smarter, and with greater clarity.

Virtue Asia has launched V47 Entertainment, a branded entertainment studio developed in partnership with Goldfinch International, the financing, production and creative-ecosystem arm of the UK-based Goldfinch Group, helping brands engage audiences in Asia, the Middle East and the Global South. Annouced on December 1 in Singapore, David Webster will lead V47 Entertainment as chairman. 

Raffles Hotel Singapore has appointed global communications agency Allison Worldwide as its strategic communications partner, following a competitive review. The appointment, which commenced on June 1 2025, will see Allison provide strategic counsel, media relations, and engagement support to strengthen the hotel’s brand positioning, enhance leadership visibility, and deepen its cultural resonance.

Dentsu Indonesia is the lead agency for #MulaiDariTring! (#StartFromTring!), a nation-wide launch campaign for Pegadaian’s new app, TRING!. As Pegadaian’s first lead agency, Dentsu Indonesia drove strategic planning across Pegadaian’s key business groups, creative development of key visuals and TVC/DVC assets, integrated media and on-ground ideation/planning, as well as close collaboration with multiple partner agencies and brand ambassador for TRING! Campaign, Isyana Sarasvati, to enable strong and consistent storytelling.  

Honda Australia has appointed a new agency village, with Special leading creative and Zenith taking on media. Burson will continue to manage PR and corporate communications, while Howatson+Co remains across the motorcycle and power equipment business. The restructure follows a review of Honda’s marketing needs ahead of 2026 and is part of a broader effort to “elevate the brand’s marketing, communications and digital experience.” It also follows last year’s appointment of Eva Barrett as Honda Australia’s new CMO. Zenith and Special replace Howatson+Co, which previously held both media and creative remits after Honda’s last pitch in early 2024. According to Australian trades, Special was awarded the remit without a formal pitch.

Bitget, a Web3 company, has appointed Ignacio Aguirre Franco as its newly minted chief marketing officer (CMO). Franco has over fifteen years of experience in the fields of technology, fintech, and blockchain, and has held senior positions at internationally renowned companies such as Adobe, SAP, Scorechain, and Xapo Bank.  

Archetype Australia has promoted two team members as the agency continues to grow its work with technology brands across consumer and B2B.

  • Chynna Lao has been promoted to account director after a strong year leading earned and influencer programs for clients like Shopify, Intuit, Mailchimp, Confluent and Trend Micro. Lao joined Archetype as an account manager over two years ago and was promoted to senior account manager last year.
  • Shishira Bindiganavile has been promoted to senior account manager. She leads work for enterprise technology clients, including Databricks, Ericsson, JFrog and Jabra. Bindiganavile joined in 2023 as an account manager.
