Assembly has appointed Yi En Chye as VP, experience & activation, APAC, a newly created role based in Singapore. Reporting to Richard Brosgill, CEO of Assembly APAC, Chye will lead the evolution of Assembly’s experience & activation practice across the region. Chye brings nearly two decades of experience across SaaS platforms, in-house marketing, and agency leadership, giving her a practical, end-to-end view of how teams align creativity, data, and technology to deliver work that performs. Previously, she worked at Afford-X, Braza, HBO, and FWD Insurance.

BBDO Guerrero Philippines has promoted Nikki SungaAndi Olbés, and Emman Carandang to group creative directors. Sunga joined BBDO over seven years ago as associate creative director. She has grown into a voice that resonates both locally and on the global stage. Olbés brings over a decade of creative storytelling and leadership to her new role. A former Cannes Young Lion and Spikes Asia Young Spikes representative. She has been working at BDDO for more than seven years.Carandang has been with BBDO Guerrero for over a decade, formerly head of art, he has led campaigns that have been recognized at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Mad Stars, D&AD, and The One Show.

The Sandpiper Group has announced two senior appointments to further strengthen its fast-growing practices in sustainability communications and China outbound advisory.

  • Gemma Kyle joins Sandpiper as an associate director in its Singapore office. With more than a decade of regional experience, Kyle joins Sandpiper from APCO, where she co-led the corporate reputation practice in Southeast Asia.
  • Jiao Tan also joins as an associate director in Sandpiper’s Singapore office. With over 15 years of experience across China and Southeast Asia, Tan was most recently lead consultant of Baldwin Boyle Group.

Publicis Groupe Vietnam has appointed Huw Gildon as chief strategy officer, effective immediately. Gildon previously served as executive vice president and global planning director for Samsung at Leo’s Chicago headquarters. In 2015, he moved to Hong Kong, most recently as chief strategy officer for Edelman APAC. He now returns to Publicis Groupe in Vietnam, where he will drive the strategic firepower across its leading agency brands.

We. Communications has been appointed by HomeTeamNS to bring to life stories of connection, unity, and service of Singapore’s Home Team frontline heroes through its digital magazine, Frontline. Over the next two years, We. will highlight the service and impact of National Servicemen (NSmen) from the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).  Under the new remit, We. will develop editorial content, including articles, video and social media content, for HomeTeamNS’s Frontline digital magazine.

Colenso BBDO has promoted Charlotte Glennon to general manager, creative operations & production. Since joining Colenso in 2022, Glennon has been a force behind the creation of some of the agency’s most loved work. Previously, she worked at DDB Aotearoa. Before that, she worked for Mother and TBWA\ Media Arts Lab in London.

Brent Crockett has been elected the new Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) national president. Crockett is one of Australia’s most respected cinematographers, recognised for more than four decades of acclaimed work across feature film, television drama and documentary. Crockett takes over the reins from Erika Addis, ACS, who served as national president for four years.
